Introducing the
Truveta Genome Project
Creating the largest and most diverse database of genotypic and phenotypic information ever assembled
Genetic sequencing of tens of millions of Americans, 10x larger than any previous endeavor
Representing the full diversity of the US across ancestries, ethnicities, genders, and other social drivers of health
Enabling drug discovery, optimizing clinical trials, and transforming how diseases are prevented, diagnosed, and cured
Questions about the Truveta Genome Project?
How it works
Consent
Healthcare sites obtain patient consent to use leftover biospecimens from routine lab tests.
Sequence
Biospecimens are genetically sequenced, while preserving patient anonymity. Leftover biospecimens are stored for future multi-omics sequencing.
Research
Genetic data is linked to de-identified medical records and added to Truveta Data for research.
